Pilot terms

Terms & Conditions

Effective: August 16, 2026   Last updated: August 16, 2026

These Terms govern participation in the Drive Venture pilot and use of its website, forms, spreadsheets, communications, and planned Text Parker service.

Drive Venture is operated by Michael Stefaniak as a Michigan sole proprietor. “Drive Venture,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that service and its operator.

1. Pilot service

Drive Venture is an experimental, limited-availability service that helps families record supervised driving practice, view licensing progress, and engage with optional game features. The service may change, experience errors, be interrupted, or be discontinued during the pilot.

2. Eligibility and family authorization

Drive Venture is intended for teen permit holders and their parents or legal guardians. It is not intended for children under 13. A parent or legal guardian must initiate or approve participation for any driver under 18 and is responsible for supervising the minor’s use of Drive Venture.

You agree to provide accurate information and to correct material errors. You may not impersonate another person or use Drive Venture for unlawful purposes.

3. Driving safety and supervision

Never interact with Drive Venture or a mobile phone while driving. Enter or review information only while safely parked. A supervising adult must provide all supervision required by law and should manage any necessary communication during a drive.

Drive Venture does not teach driving, monitor a vehicle in real time, provide emergency assistance, or determine whether a person is safe or legally eligible to drive.

4. Licensing information and records

Drive Venture is not a government agency, driving school, insurer, or legal adviser. Progress calculations and licensing information are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Families are responsible for checking current requirements with the appropriate state agency and for maintaining any official log or certification required by law.

5. Family records and access

A participating family may receive links to Google Forms and Sheets containing family information and driving records. Keep these links private and share them only with people authorized to access the family’s Drive Venture information. Contact us promptly if you believe a link or record has been accessed improperly.

6. Text Parker SMS terms

Text Parker is a planned optional transactional SMS service associated with (320) 372-7537, branded as (320) 3-PARKER. It is not available until announced by Drive Venture.

Each person receiving messages must consent for their own mobile number. For a minor driver, a parent or guardian must also authorize participation.

7. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service; attempt unauthorized access; submit malicious, deceptive, or unlawful content; use automated means to overwhelm the service; or use Drive Venture to harass or harm another person.

8. Feedback and pilot changes

You may provide feedback voluntarily. You allow us to use feedback to evaluate and improve Drive Venture without payment or attribution, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue pilot features. When practical, we will notify participating families of material changes.

9. Intellectual property

Drive Venture’s name, visual identity, Parker character, site content, software, and original materials remain the property of their respective owner. Participation does not transfer ownership. Families retain ownership of the information and photographs they submit and grant us permission to process them only as needed to operate and improve the pilot.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Drive Venture is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or eligibility for any license or insurance benefit. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Drive Venture and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the pilot, loss of records, service interruptions, reliance on progress calculations, or unsafe or unlawful driving conduct. This provision does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Ending participation

You may stop participating by contacting us. We may suspend participation for misuse, safety concerns, legal requirements, or pilot administration. Information will be handled according to the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting participating families will receive additional notice when practical.

Questions may be sent to mike@mydriveventure.com.

Draft for pilot review: The warranty, liability, governing-law, minor-participation, and intellectual-property provisions should receive legal review before a broader commercial launch.
